California State ChicoCAOffice of the President, 400 W. First St. Chico, CA 95929–0150Gayle Hutchinson, Ph.D.president@csuchico.eduhttps://sacd.sdsu.edu/student-health-services/covid-19On July 27, the California State University (CSU) system announced that the COVID-19 vaccine will be required for students, faculty, and staff, including auxiliary employees in order to access campus this fall. As outlined by the CSU, this requirement is not contingent on the full U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, and therefore removes some of the earlier uncertainty regarding the policy’s effective date. This is an update to the CSU’s April 22 announcement. Students and all non-represented faculty and staff, including auxiliary employees, must submit their completed vaccination documentation to HealtheConnect, the university secure online health portal, by the deadline of Monday Aug. 16. Please note: This is a different process than the self-attestation form, which most faculty and staff have already completed. The CSU COVID-19 vaccination requirement allows for students, faculty and staff to seek an exemption based on medical or religious grounds. Exemption requests for students and non-represented faculty and staff must be submitted before Aug. 16. Students who receive an approved vaccination exemption will be required to have COVID-19 testing every seven days through Sept. 30, at which point the university will re-evaluate transitioning to biweekly testing based on county conditions. Information on submitting an exemption request can be found online.I could not find a letter from the President. But, this is from Campus Updates.

Cornell University*NYOffice of the President, 300 Day Hall, Cornell University Ithaca, NY 14853Martha E. Pollack, Ph. D. president@cornell.eduhttps://health.cornell.edu/services/covid-19-services/covid-19-vaccinationCOVID-19 vaccination is required for students attending the Ithaca, Geneva, and Cornell Tech campuses for the fall 2021 semester. Students must upload their vaccine documentation to Daily Check, file a request for a medical or religious exemption, or schedule a vaccine appointment by August 16, 2021 to avoid penalties. *Consequences of inaction*: What happens if a student doesn't comply with the requirement by the August 16 deadline? Students who have not submitted vaccination information, scheduled an appointment for vaccination, or filed a request for an exemption will be subject to progressive enforcement measures: If you remain non-compliant as of August 16: A registration hold will be placed on your account on August 17, preventing you from adding and dropping courses until you come into compliance. Ithaca students will also be prevented from accessing the Cornell Store, libraries, fitness centers, and some other campus facilities. Some students may experience delays in receiving stipends. If you remain non-compliant as of September 9: Ithaca students will have access to Canvas (the campus gateway to academic materials and assignments) suspended on September 10 until you come into compliance. If you remain non-compliant as of September 25: You will be disenrolled from the university on September 26. You will not be allowed to re-enroll until you come into compliance. Please note that there is an administrative fee of $350 to re-enroll. You can come into compliance in any one of three ways: promptly uploading your vaccination information through Cornell's Daily Check; providing evidence to Cornell Health that you have scheduled your first vaccine appointment; submitting a request for a medical or religious exemption. Two exemptions for COVID-19 vaccine may be pursued: a medical exemption and a religious exemption.

However, due to a new Florida law, NSU is unable to maintain such a policy. NSU always follows the letter and spirit of the law and we must do that as the law goes into effect on July 1, 2021. Therefore, we are NOT requiring vaccinations for NSU students, faculty, and staff, as was announced back on April 1, before the legislation was passed. Nonetheless, with additional safeguards in place, NSU has its best opportunity to return to normalcy this fall.I could not find a letter from the President.
