Watch and Amplify Senate “SNAP Boost” Floor Event, July 1, 7–8 p.m. Eastern

Senate Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) will take to the Senate floor on Wednesday, July 1, from 7–8 p.m. Eastern, to lead speeches on the urgency for the Senate to take up a COVID-19 recovery package that must include boosts to SNAP.

Time is ticking. Take Action to Get the Word Out.

When the Senate returns from its July 4 recess, there will be only three weeks left to enact a COVID-19 relief package before the Senate is out all August.

It’s imperative that the Senate pass a bill that boosts SNAP maximum benefits by 15 percent, increases the minimum monthly SNAP benefit from $16 to $30, and suspends SNAP time limits or administrative rules that would cut benefits.
