Dear NPH Supporter

Last year NPH hosted a Resident Services Professional Development Training series and due to its overwhelming popularity, NPH is thrilled to host a second series this year! The series was created and designed by Resident Services professionals specifically for Case Managers, Property Managers, and Resident Services staff

In partnership with Dr. Diane Johnson, Ph.D., national expert on neighborhood development capacity building and President and Founder of Mmapeu Management Consulting, along with our Resident Services Roundtable - an NPH working group comprised of Resident Services Directors - this series has been designed to be impactful and responsive to the needs of Resident Services professionals, as well as affordable - $20 per registration for each workshop.

The three sessions will cover the following topics:

  • February 12: Strengths Based Perspective and Approach
  • March 12: Building and Supporting Leadership Skills
  • March 12: Successfully Resolving Conflict

Space is limited so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Please note that we are limiting registration to four participants per organization.

More information about each training and how to register can be found below. We hope to see you at one or all of the trainings!

Relationships with humans are by their nature particularly challenging and figuring out how to effectively, successfully, and compassionately work with our residents, which often means successfully resolving conflict, is a key component of our work. This workshop will identify various conflict resolution styles, demonstrate when and how to implement effective conflict resolution techniques, and highlight many conflict resolution best practices when responding to residents' needs.
