Read moreWe are Oregon’s premier network of independent farmers & ranchers who are committed to expanding pasture based agriculture across the great state of Oregon. Our membership farms lean into shared values and go beyond best practices to make better food products, steward land responsibly for future generations and create economic viability and food resilience in rural and urban farming communities.
As our membership grows, so does our impact. Collectively, we have :
“The Oregon Pasture Network is a network that brings together local farmers and ranchers to promote animal agriculture. One of the reasons we like it is, they recognize the effects that animals have in building soil health. Through OPN we have been able to connect with other farmers and ranchers in the area and have been a part of educational opportunities, classes and workshops. The other thing about the Oregon Pasture Network that is really great is that they’re involved in advocacy for keeping our food systems local, viable and sustainable.”
“Being a part of the Oregon Pasture Network helps convey our values to new customers without requiring hours of record keeping or expensive fees. A customer can use the OPN to find all of their pasture raised meats. We’re all listed there. While being a member of OPN is not a certification, it’s an easy to use and valuable marketing tool for farmers.”
Subscribe to the OPN email list and get our exclusive pasture based monthly newsletter that includes OPN updates, education and technical assistance resources, event reminders, policy updates and occasionally something lighthearted, just to remind you that you’re not the only one with poop on your shirt. 🙂
We are dedicated to contributing better meat products directly to Oregon’s food systems. We connect farmers and ranchers with eaters in communities all over the state, and when our farmers and ranchers learn more, they do better to produce healthy, nutritious and affordable pastured meat, fiber and dairy products for the families in their communities.
