Prize must be accepted in writing via email within 7 days after Plug In America emails the winner to notify them that they have been chosen.

Plug In America is the sole sponsor of the Plug In America "December 17, 2021 ClipperCreek Electric Vehicle Charging Station Drawing" and is solely responsible for this promotion and prizes associated. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The "December 17, 2021 ClipperCreek Electric Vehicle Charging Station Drawing" (“Drawing”) was announced on November 29, 2021 and ends at 11:59 pm PT on December 17, 2021 ("entry period"). There is one way to enter: online. No other method of entry will be accepted.

How to Enter

To qualify for the drawing, entrants must register an electric vehicle event on the Drive Electric Earth Month ("DEEM") website DriveElectricEarthMonth.org, and the event must meet the requirements outlined in the DEEM event agreement. The event must be scheduled to occur during Drive Electric Earth Day April 1-30, 2022. The event must be approved by a DEED administrator. A DEED administrator will evaluate if the event meets the requirements outlined in the event agreement and if the event organizer is in good standing with the DEED national organizers, which are Plug In America, the Electric Auto Association, and the Sierra Club. The event must be registered on or before 11:59 pm PT December 17, 2021. In such cases where a DEED administrator is still reviewing the event after December 17, 2021, a winner will not be selected until after such events have been approved or rejected and the event organizers have been given 5 business days to respond to requests for information. DEED administrators will attempt to contact event organizers with requests for information, if necessary, via the phone number and email address provided in the event organizer’s account profile.

Events registered before the Drawing was announced that meet the above criteria will be included in the group of event organizers (“City Captains”) from which the winner is chosen.

Entrant shall be the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain name associated with the submitted email address.

Eligibility

The Drawing is open to DEEM Lead City Captains of events in the United States and Canada who are at least 18 years of age (or, if different, the age of majority in their place of citizenship) as of the date the Drawing begins. DEEM Lead City Captains who have previously received an electric vehicle charging station as part of a Plug In America DEEM drawing are ineligible for this drawing. Employees of Plug In America (and its subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies); such employees' immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and the spouses of parents, children, and siblings); and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. Employees of organizations that fund Plug In America; such employees' immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and the spouses of parents, children, and siblings); and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. The Drawing is governed by the laws of the United States and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

How the Winner Is Chosen

Limit one entry per registered, qualifying event. A qualifying event is chosen at random and the electric vehicle charging station is awarded to the Lead City Captain. If the chosen City Captain declines the free electric vehicle charging station, a runner up event is chosen. The electric vehicle charging station is provided to the City Captain from a qualifying event, even if they are organizing the event on behalf of an organization.

How to Receive the Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The electric vehicle charging station is normally shipped directly from ClipperCreek to the winner. In some circumstances, the electric vehicle charging station may be shipped to Plug In America first, after which Plug In America will ship it to the winner. If any damage occurs to the electric vehicle charging station during the process of being delivered to the winner, it can be brought to Plug In America’s attention. Plug In America will review the incident and decide if a new electric vehicle charging station can be shipped to the winner.
