Governor Murphy, through Executive Order 28, directed the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to draft the 2019 Energy Master Plan. The EMP Committee conducted a robust stakeholder process - including comment periods, meetings, workshops, and a webinar - to gather information in key areas.

In June 2019, NJBPU announced opportunities for the public to comment on the draft 2019 EMP. NJBPU held eight stakeholder meetings, which have now concluded. Members of the public were also encouraged to submit written comments. All comments received helped inform the EMP Committee’s drafting of the final 2019 Energy Master Plan.
