Chris Wallace: Biden gave “a great speech … this was the best inaugural address I have ever heard”

A thrill ran up his leg.

He had a thrill running up his leg:

“I have been listening to these inaugural addresses since 1961, John F. Kennedy’s ‘Ask not.’ I thought this was the best inaugural address I ever heard.”

Well, we now have confirmation. Chris Wallace is not only mentally impaired but he is hard-of-hearing as well…

2smartforlibs | January 20, 2021 at 4:38 pm

Does Fox really wonder why people are leaving in droves?

For Comrade Wallace means ‘Mission Accomplished’. Board member Paul Ryan would agree.

Or, as one the Murdoch boys’ wives put it, ‘We did it!’

They’re all rich. They don’t care.

Rupert seems a little upset, though.

Well, they do care to some extent since they just jettisoned their election coverage team and shook up their schedule to hide the Never Trumpers in afternoon hours. They screwed up big, their ratings since the election prove it, and they know it. The rich always want to get richer, never underestimate the power of greed or the drive for power.

I do not think their audience is coming back. There will need to be a deeper and broader purge than this. I do not think they have the guts.

I know they laid off Chris Stirewalt, but did they fire that sanctimonious jack*ss who was in charge of their data analytics team – the one who appeared on election night to explain their call in Arizona. Even Bret Baer didn’t seem to believe him.

The guys they had in the room for the 2012 and 2016 elections were much more normal.

That was the straw that broke it for me. If they couldn’t tell that this idiot was turning off the base audience, they shouldn’t be in the business.

His priorities are to suppress white supremacists and domestic terrorists.

In the eyes of Democrats, that’s you, folks. They have plainly said so.

I’m awaiting notice of my appointment, here in the backwaters of New Mexico, to be “re-programmed.” I will probably get that notice before I get one from D-run NM telling me I can (at age 77) get the CCPvirus vaccine!

“Politics does not have to be a raging fire”

That must be why you called Trump voters “Nazis” and said Mitt Romney wanted to bring back slavery.

I’ll believe Biden wants to heal when he tells Crazy Nancy to drop impeachment.

How many words did Biden make up during the speech?

Our youngest daughter heard a long political speech today.

It’s the beginning of the spring semester and today was the first day of her “History of African American Music” class (on Zoom).

She needed an elective and heard it was an easy A.

She walked into the living room with her laptop and said, “I just dropped that class. I have to find another class.”

I asked her why since it was supposed to be an easy A. She said the professor spent the entire time talking about the storming of the Capitol and the threat of Republicans to our country.

They don’t even try to hide their indoctrination efforts.

alohahola in reply to LukeHandCool. | January 20, 2021 at 9:44 pm

I love it. She simply dropped the class. You don’t have to give a reason when you drop a class.

That’s the best thing you can do with Dems (and Rinos). Drop them. Don’t give them a reason.

ultraskeptic in reply to LukeHandCool. | January 21, 2021 at 8:30 am

Ahhh, yessss….. violent attacks and killing of folks is okay… but only when Republicans do it. Overthrowing the democratic processes of our national legislature, ditto. But were this a Democratic attack, then you’d loose all the canons and execute the vermin.
The trouble with discarding all educational presentations with which you don’t emotionally agree is that it then is no longer education. And to mistake the Drumpf years for good government is to miss the main points of government. Yeah, they did some really good stuff. They made the rich much richer, they increased the burden of the costs of shared national expenses on to the shoulders of the poor and working class, they pretty much exterminated the middle class. And, yes, I’m being sarcastic. Truthful, just the same. Yep they did a few good things. But on balance, the past Drumpf administration was a disaster, threatening our future (except for the uber-rich) and rejecting most of the science-based concerns which should have been a central part of their operation.
They did manage to insert some peace treaties in the Middle East, something that the Dumocrats have been warbling about for many decades but have actually made worse rather than better. But much of the credit for those treaties goes to Iran, whose nuclear progress can be credited to Obama, now reinstated in effect, if not in fact. So I’m not hopeful that the new administration will do much good in that context. But at least they might address the Drumpf Virus, which was so totally mismanaged as to make give our nation the worst mortality rate per capita in the world, with Drump’s great ally Bolsinaro in second place.
We’re headed down the tubes. That happens to all leading nations. The choice is now speeding up that miserable process, Trump style, or slowing it down. I regret that reversing it is unlikely over the near term. As Iran, nee Persia, has shown, over the long-haul it’s possible to come back.
Drumpf’s idiocy, if permitted to continue another term, would have guaranteed the rapid doom of our country. To worship his haircuts and his idiotic TV persona is to miss the vital main points of our national administrative needs. I’m afraid that your daughter far too quickly endorsed that error.

bullhubbard in reply to ultraskeptic. | January 21, 2021 at 10:00 am

“Overthrowing democratic process”? This retarded statement makes the rest of your nonsensical drivel seem reasonable.

I’ll bet you’re disappointed that a cadre of Trump supporters didn’t try to disrupt the pathetically dismal inauguration (not that anyone could, given the presence of an entire division of National Guard on High Alert).

The Big Lie . . . that the riot in DC was an “attempted coup” or “insurrection” is being used as a pretext for a purge of conservatives and Trump supporters and for totalitarian “hate speech” legislation.

It should be an interesting four years.

ultraskeptic in reply to bullhubbard. | January 22, 2021 at 11:57 am

Just because the rioters were unlikely to succeed in their efforts, they nonetheless certainly demonstrated a desire to commit to undoing the democratic process in order re-install their favorite inarticulate hair-style god. Perhaps you think that such mayhem represents some new form of election celebration, that the announcements of intention to execute Congresspeople and the VP were just broadcasts of joy and reverence for our political system?
I defy you to show me evidence – FACTUAL EVIDENCE – that makes my assertions “nonsensical drivel”.

      FOTin1943 in reply to ultraskeptic. | January 21, 2021 at 1:03 pm

Hate mongering and fabricating reasons for fear are NOT part of an “educational presentation.” The ultra-left “progressives” cannot and/or will not teach what they are paid (well) to teach; instead they use the captive students to practice their holier-than-thou political speeches – and require students to be sycophants, regurgitating the drivel of victimization, systemic racism and and the like.

But you represent the antithesis, a typical Republigoon spokeman… ooops. SpokesPERSON. Wouldn’t want to be politically incorrect while carefully responding to your comprehensive analysis and rebuttal of my assertions.

Yes, it rivaled the Gettysburg Address….

On to important things:

Trump ‘in talks to start NEW “Patriot Party”:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/13793767/trump-new-patriot-party-maga-movement/

This couldn’t happen fast enough.

FU-K YOU MCCONNELL and EVERY GOP scumbag in office: you will soon have a base of ZERO.

This will be fascinating. Harnessing Tea Party payback for being betrayed by the GOP and payback from today’s stolen election could be hugely interesting…especially if it becomes a viable alternative.

Just have to over come Democrats propaganda arm.

The democrat propaganda arm means NOTHING to us. We have a base of over 75,000,000 people who DID vote – there are millions who did not (or were not counted) and still support Trump.

      We are ENORMOUS.

Walking away from the GOP will be one of the greatest acts our side could ever do, this side of electing Donald Trump.

Imagine the likes of who will follow into the new party: Ted Cruz, Mike Pompeo, Rand Paul, Devin Nunes – you get the picture: all people we can trust.

The GOP will be an empty shell, running to the democrats. However, the first election, no GOP scumbag will be relected. Karl Rove and Bill Krystal will be their base. And then it will be destroyed, like a giant cancer undergoing the knife.

    drednicolson in reply to TheFineReport.com. | January 20, 2021 at 6:15 pm

The GoPe OGs wanted a return to the good ol’ days of being the “loyal opposition” that talks a good piece each election year, wrings their hands against third parties and “splitting the vote”, then goes back to their comfy chairs at the trough.

We better not fall for that again in ’22 and ’24. If Trump succeeds in organizing a strong third party run, we need to vote our consciences and punish the RINOs for their decades of sycophancy. Even if it means Dems keep the White House. Very little would change with a RINO ticket in 2024, anyway.

Anyone who ‘falls for that’ is truly a cuck – and no one we’d want in the new party we’re about to be formed that will gut the GOP.

JusticeDelivered in reply to drednicolson. | January 21, 2021 at 4:54 pm

Dems did not think that Trump could put together an administration without them, that blew up in their face. Rinos thought they could get away with back stabbing Trump, now that is blowing up in their face.

I like trump because he really is tenacious and formidable. It would really be great if both Dems and Rinos end up kicked to the sidelines.

I guarantee that many more Dems will be alienated by Biden-Ho Harris. They will piss off much of their followers.

Didn’t watch the whole thing but shortly realized that Slo Joe’s post inauguration speech was simply a rehashing of all the statements and platitudes he spouted mindlessly during the election. There was nothing new in the speech. And I could hardly believe he actually had any comprehension of what he was saying. He was told to read the speech and he did. And that was it.

I didn’t watch the am sideshow, but saw some clips; as always, he doesn’t read well what others have written for him – or seem to understand it. Changing tv channels in the pm, I came upon the paid political ad (carried by ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS and ???) when Slo Jo began to talk; I wondered if he had an earpiece in and was reciting what he had just hear, along with the raised voice directed via the earpiece. A few sentences of that were enough!!

Inaugural speeches have called for unity since as long as I can remember, but it never happens. I don’t even see it as genuine by intent any more. It’s part of a very generic, old, and lazy formula for inaugural addresses that no one is believing at this point.

Regardless, Trump did the same thing, and the left didn’t listen. The right won’t listen to this because we don’t believe this to be a legitimately elected POTUS.

Fox News just lost more viewers. The media love and pandering is for Biden is disgusting. I look forward to video clips comparing Trump’s coverage to Biden’s.

My wife, God bless her, had CBS on this morning as I was getting ready for work and the talking heads were absolutely nauseating, not bothering to hide their seething hatred for Trump and ass-licking Biden like they never ass-licked Obama. It was the most pathetic thing CBS has broadcast since Trump’s election. I still feel like I need another shower for having heard it.

As for the speech, wasn’t interested so didn’t hear it. Chris Wallace is just a stupid tool.

Chris Wallace makes me puke!!!

2smartforlibs | January 20, 2021 at 5:28 pm

Ddi Wallace hit his head?

No, Biden’s speech was the greatest speech in human history.
And yes, Biden will shortly cure cancer – and in his spare time.

Think about Biden’s further genius: his election was the greatest miracle of impossible odds in world political history.

We are so blessed to have him. Ironic how the the past 47 years of his idiocy, corruption and treason fooled us into thinking he was not an idiot, a criminal and a traitor beholden to our sworn enemies.

Being Biden is God, we could say that Hunter Biden is the new Jesus.

And his choice of Kamala Harris as VP? No need for a yappy White House intern servicing him under his desk, when he’s got Harris already there and well trained at that sort of thing. No “blue dress” risk, either: Harris is too fat to wear one. The only challenge may be when Harris is on her knees, she’s too old and fat to stand up quick if someone walks in the room. It’ll be odd for visitors to sometimes hear a voice coming from under the desk.

    ——–

Back to reality: Chris Wallace is a corrupt POS, working for a corrupt swamp propaganda network. Even for him, this is embarrassing. Boycott him and his network.

Soon, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Greg Gutfeld and the like will be working on the Trump Network.

Don’t EVER count Donald Trump out: you can believe his gears are spinning. He could very well be in for the most fun he’s every had in his life: destroying the GOP, maybe killing McConnell and company with heart attacks.

We’ll be right there will him.

If Joe Biden ever had an original thought it would die of loneliness. Let the plagiarism hunt begin.

Oops! Chris Wallace being a syncophant for the Democrats isn’t news. But there’s a factual error in Biden’s assertion that he’ll be a President to all Americans. As the liberals explained to me since November 8, 2016, you don’t have to recognize a President if you don’t want to–so include me out! I’m done with Fox–maybe Tucker Carlson can take his show on the road to DJT’s new network–I’ll watch that show!

Ugh. That guy.

OwenKellogg-Engineer | January 20, 2021 at 5:48 pm

I don’t think that was a thrill running up his leg……..Creepy Joe is in town.

In fairness the Inaugural is like a wedding day: the event is focused on the new President/VP and their families. They get a day of more favorable coverage from MSM.

That said today’s event, and every subsequent event, will be compared to the standards set for the.DJT administration. Most of us are intelligent enough to refuse to follow the MSM down the memory hole where they seek to ignore how they didn’t ask probing questions but ones with flaws premises that made their personal opposition to the administration very clear.

They can try to ignore their actions of.the past four years but we sure as Heck remember. They willfully ignored our initial pleas to respect.the office if not the occupant. They chose their path. Everyone and everything related to the administration is ‘fair game’ for coverage including children; even Barron was attacked.

Comrade Wallace calls that objective ‘journalism’. As distinguished from the subjective ‘opinions’ that Tucker, Hannity, and Ingraham express.

See the difference? Me neither.

They hear what they want to hear. They probably wrote the reviews yesterday.

Yesterday I canceled cable. While returning equipment, four other people were doing the same. Corporate media is toxic-poison and I refuse to finance it through a cable bill. Eventually, cost of cable will increase dramatically to make up for the lost revenue additional millions millions cutting the cord. Time to crush the media empire, cut the cable. It’s liberating!

artichoke in reply to syn. | January 20, 2021 at 6:17 pm

An additional cable customer costs them nothing to service, and the shows are paid for by ads. So the cost should go down, as they beg you to consume the stuff.

A few years ago I decided that sports had become woke so I didn’t want ESPN anymore when I renewed my cable service. Turns out I didn’t have a choice. So many people agreed with me that ESPN had become a free channel and was included with everything!

JHogan in reply to syn. | January 20, 2021 at 6:25 pm

Welcome to the club. I cut the cord about six years ago.

And in the last year I cancelled Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Spotify, and YouTube TV (a recent experiment).

    It felt good.

Same here, AT&T is next. I’ve been with them since I first got a cell phone back in the 90’s (and had them for landline before that). But I’m out, they are backing efforts to boycott GOP Congressional members who lawfully and correctly questioned the 2020 presidential electoral college results (as Democrats have done in the past three presidential elections they’ve lost). Once I find a new carrier, I’m done with AT&T. That will be my last one, I think. Then I just have to be vigilant in what I watch (no shows or movies with anyone on my “no buy” list since even watching their crap for free registers and thus helps them).

I got rid of cable years ago and haven’t missed it at all. If there is some Fox clip I want to watch, I just watch it online. I got an antenna to pick up local channels and stream most shows/movies/news via Roku. I don’t miss a thing (though I do have to say, again, that dumping Amazon did kind of hurt because I did enjoy that Amazon Prime videos didn’t include ads–still, seems a small price to pay for a clear conscience.)

Oversoul Of Dusk in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | January 20, 2021 at 7:38 pm

Amazon Prime videos are getting less and less interesting. The selection seems to dwindle every month. They are constantly pushing fee-based rentals and “free with (lots of) ads” stuff.

Unfortunately I have the yearly Amazon Prime membership. It just renewed about a month ago, and they don’t give refunds. I won’t be renewing. While my membership lasts, I’l play interesting games that maximize the number of separate packages they send me with free prime shipping. If I need 3 of something, I’ll order 1 each day until I have what I need.

I did something similar leading up to my renewal date. I don’t miss Amazon shopping one tiny bit, though I thought I would since I did pretty much all my shopping via Amazon. It’s just as easy (and often cheaper) to use Walmart, Overstock. or the product website. Most sites have generous shipping rates (free after $20 or whatever).

Anyway, it’s an easy drop, once you do it. Just prepare ahead. Start watching the things you will be watching after Amazon Prime goes away (I like to watch Pluto channels, Roku, Cracker, and a handful of news and other “classic” tv and movie channels). While I was doing this, I also made sure to watch whatever I wanted to that was exclusive to Prime (but to be honest, I can’t even remember what shows those were, so they couldn’t have been that important). Shrug. Haven’t looked back.

Amazon Prime video service is horrid. The movies they feature for free are available for free on Youtube (yes, they’re that low-grade).

Any decent movie? – they charge about 5 bucks to rent it! You’re better off buying the DVD on ebay.

I am sure you also noted that the price of goods has been climbing for 6 months. We are moving our shopping to Ebay.

alohahola in reply to syn. | January 20, 2021 at 9:47 pm

Four years off of Amazon here!

I love shopping local. I don’t mind paying a little extra to keep my neighborhood intact.

JusticeDelivered in reply to syn. | January 21, 2021 at 7:11 pm

Time flies, I just looked it up, I cut cable TV more than ten years ago. Comcast, incompetent, arrogant, crooked, gougers.

I suggest that users rip DVDs and place the content on a home server. I have bought numerous DVD collections for about 0.20-.25
for each DVD. I expect streaming services to become much more expensive.

Raspberry Pi4 now makes an excellent NAS (server), and it can also be used with Kodi as a replacement for Roku products.

“There is truth and there are lies.” So Biden is going to go for more censorship of inconvenient truths.

And having censored his opponents, he’ll call for unity around his “consensus”.

Don’t take this personally. That’s what I remind myself every so often. Enjoy the ride and laugh at the funny parts and funny people. It won’t be a free country, but life can still have its good moments.

One of the most useful weapons against tyranny is humor. Would-be tyrants are almost invariably self-important and incapable of laughing at themselves.

I didn’t watch the speech. I found better things to do. Seemed like the perfect time to shovel snow off the driveway.

Even if one of my Leftwing neighbors takes note of the timing and reports my suspicious behavior to the War on Domestic Terror authorities.

I’m just surprised that that shameless hack didn’t compare this dishonest speech favorably to the Sermon on the Mount.

Don’t need any speeches from the Usurper. He didn’t write them, he doesn’t mean anything in them except that he’s going to persecute his political enemies (whom he describes as terrorists – a term that really grates in the ears of the many who are former military), and they were only kept short to avoid too many gaffs. Interesting that Politico comes out today with an article admitting that he’s suffering from dementia. Looks like they’re setting up the Article 25 clamor so they can install their REAL usurper.

Not a surprise considering the aid he gave Biden with his complete failure as a debate moderator. He was a true embarrassment in front of the entire country that night. I remember when he asked Republican Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann if she is a “flake”.

I wasn’t a Bachmann supporter. But asking a presidential candidate if they are a “flake” is not something a serious, unbiased interviewer would ever do. It’s not intended to elicit useful information. It’s intended to express the interviewers opinion and to degrade the interviewee.

I also remember him gushing about how “credible” Blasey Ford’s testimony was during the Kavanaugh hearings.

He’s not neutral. He’s not unbiased. Never has been. He’s a left wing opinion guy masquerading as an unbiased person.

Biden made a complete fool of himself and the USA by parading down the street waving to all the thousands of stern-faced bodyguards, hundreds of squirrels and 200,000 flags lined up like a Military Cemetery. They can rename that street “Cemetery of the USA”. They can rename the country Zimbabwe No.2 or Venezuela No.2

Beijing Joe Biden is NOT my President, period.

SeekingRationalThought | January 21, 2021 at 10:49 am

I have no doubt that Chris Wallace has a reasonable IQ. Unfortunately for him, IQ is worse than worthless without the knowledge, experience and wisdom he so clearly lacks. The man grew up in, and has always lived in, a bubble and just doesn’t have the tools to see and analyze the broader world surrounding that limiting environment. Conceding good intent for the sake of argument, he is still a menace to clear and objective reporting and thinking. Those who rely on his reporting (which probably includes few FNB viewers) do so are limiting their own worlds.

Where’s Menachim Begin with a pithy retort to Joe Biden when you need him?

What an utterly pathetic, slavish, slobbering lemming-lapdog-prostitute, is Wallace. Not an ounce of self-respect or integrity. Immediately getting down on his knees to fellate Biden and ingratiate himself with the incoming junta.

Better than two Obama speeches, two Bill Clinton speeches, JFK?? Biden, the least persuasive speaker since GWB (who nonetheless gave more inspired inauguration speeches than Biden)! Who got fewer than half a million online viewers in the WH site? Liar, liar, hyperpartisan pants on fire.

Remember the movie Being There? Peter Seller’s played a dim-wit character who happened to be in the right place at the right time. And spoke in general terms of “growth in the Spring”.

The people swooned and call him a brilliant visionary.

BIDEN is that man. Campaigned from his basement and surprised as anyone that he was declared winner.

Wallace, I have been listening since before 1961 and if you think the abysmal speech Slow Joe gave was the best you ever heard, you need not only your hearing checked but a brain scan.
