About Season of Creation Daily
Each year since the 1990's Christians have celebrated the gift of God's Creation in a special way from September 1 through October 4,
the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
With the 2015 publication of Pope Francis' letter:
"Laudato Si'- On Care for our Common Home"
Catholics have joined enthusiastically, responding to the call to
"heed the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor."
This daily resource provides an opportunity to
pause each day of the Season,
reflect with gratitude on the gift of creation,
consider the plight of the earth and of those most impacted by environmental problems, and
discern how we are called to respond.
