We are holding a "Skype with a Scientist" event on April 1st and 2nd. Both sessions will feature Momoko Takahashi, a developmental neurologist from Northwestern University. Momoko will talk about some topics that may include the day in the life of a scientist, how nerve cells communicate with each other, what is neuroscience, how hearing works in humans and animals and (for 6-12 only) the physics within the nerve cells. Momoko is also hoping kids can submit any questions that have and that the lesson can also be tied into these submitted questions.
