THE DNR SAYS AN ALGAE BLOOM IS DYING OFF - WHICH IS TAKING OXYGEN OUT OF THE WATER. IT'S DYING OFF BECAUSE OF COOLER WEATHER THIS WEEK. THE DNR SAYS IT'S BETWEEN 3 AND 4- THOUSAND FISH. IT'S TOTALLY NATURAL - NOT A CHEMICAL SPILL

Thousands of fish are going belly up in Iowa because of algae blooms.The Iowa Department of Natural Resources said it happened at the Humeston Reservoir. It's not just ugly. Some people near the area are worried about their health because of the smell.The DNR says an algae bloom is dying off, which is taking oxygen out of the water. It's dying off because of cooler weather this week.The DNR says it's between 3,000 and 4,000 fish. It's totally natural and not due to a chemical spill.It's one of more than two dozen kills reported nearby.Other headlines:
