The West Point Revitalization Committee has been working with Jim Mallory, vice chairman of the Lewis and Clark Trust, to install three Lewis and Clark Auto Tour Route signs in West Point.

According to a recent news release, Mallory said these are the first Auto Tour Route signs in Kentucky on the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. The trail was established by Congress in 1978 as part of the national trails system as one of four original national historic trails and extended in 2019.
