The purpose of the study:
This research project aims to find out perceptions of American media's coverage of the recent surge in anti-Asian attacks since the beginning of the pandemic, particularly from the perspectives of Asian-American journalists.

Research methodology and why:
Data collection instrument is an online anonymous survey I designed and reviewed by the CMU Institutional Review Board. I’m seeking the assistance of the AAJA in distributing this survey. I shall analyze the data collected and include the findings in a research paper.

How long will the survey take?
It will take approximately 10 minutes.

Are there any risks to me for participating in the research?  
Risks for participating in this survey are minimal.

What are the potential benefits of participating in the research?  
The benefit of this project would be to shed more light on the subject.

Will anyone know what I do or say in this research (Confidentiality)?
No data collected in this survey will be linked to any individual participating in the survey.
