Mississippi River breaks 1993 river level record
The Mississippi River is not expected to fully recede for about a month in Davenport, Iowa.
According to the National Weather Service, the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities is now at 22.64 feet, surpassing the previous record set in 1993 at 22.63.
The river is still rising and expected to hit 22.7 feet Thursday night.
