Student Matinee Series
Educators, share the beauty of a Ballet Arkansas performance with your K-12 students this year! Student Matinee performances are designed to provide enriching artistic experiences to young audiences, serving thousands of students across Arkansas. Performances are held at 10:30 am and are accompanied by a visually stunning Study Guide. Student Matinee performances may be abbreviated to accommodate school schedules.
Student Matinee Performances are for K-12 students of public/private/homeschool groups and their educators. These performances are not open to the public and tickets are not available for purchase. All attendees are required to be 5 years of age or older, no exceptions. Reservations must be made by a school representative or educator and are non-refundable, except in the event that the performance is cancelled by Ballet Arkansas.

A bold reimagining of “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, this multimedia infused production will feature dynamic projection and 360 sound, elaborate costumes and sets, world premiere choreography by Executive and Artistic Director, Michael Fothergill, and the talents of community performers. The production is filled with humor and hijinks for the whole family and is presented in partnership with Cranford Co.

The “Nutcracker Spectacular'' is the largest and longest running holiday production in Arkansas. Featuring the professional dancers of Ballet Arkansas and a 200+ member community cast of children and adults, the production is an unforgettable celebration of the season. Performances are set to Tchaikovsky’s paramount score, and this year’s production will feature partial updates to choreography, sets, and costumes as part of the organization's year 1 investment in the "Nutcracker Project." Student Matinee Performance do not feature live accompaniment.

The world’s most iconic and highly attended classical ballet comes to Robinson this February. Set to Tchaikovsky’s magical score, Ballet Arkansas will present a vibrant and beautiful production of Marius Petipa’s timeless classic featuring stunning costumes and sets, and a community cast of children and adults.
