Letter from the CEO

Dear Friends of Together Center,

This project has been the honor and the adventure of a lifetime. We have been meeting with folks interested in replicating this model of robust human services for all and affordable housing on one site. As we share tips and offer our best counsel to jurisdictions, churches, and other nonprofits looking to use their land for social purposes, we have found that there are a few essential characteristics for a successful development.

We think of this as a team event – an ultra-marathon hurdling, obstacle course – that we, the Together Center development team, must all complete together. There is constant problem-solving, brainstorming, negotiation, creativity, discussion, and many days, most importantly, a sense of humor!

Kim Sarnecki, CEO, Together Center leads a hard hat tour

With construction nearing completion, we see the finish line ahead and look forward to being together again before the end of the year. Leading this once-in-a-generation campus redevelopment has been both incredibly challenging and exciting, and I can hardly believe we are so close to achieving this bold vision for our region. Simultaneously, I know the new Together Center is just getting started! We are so excited to form new partnerships and activate beautiful, new spaces in service of the larger community.

We are on track to complete construction this year, and we need your help to secure the final funding to open the doors debt-free. With your support, this groundbreaking redevelopment will become a model community hub that will improve hundreds of thousands of lives over the next half century and beyond.

Will you join us and consider a special gift to help finish the funding of this visionary new community campus?

Thank you for considering a gift to this landmark project at a very critical and exciting time.

Onward together,
