DCE working group
Coordinating PNHP’s work on DCEs. Priorities include circulating the organizational sign on letter, the DCE petition and developing a speakers group that can educate allies about the dangers of DCEs, as well as determining tactics to keep building pressure to end them.

Recruiting new members.Projects this year include re-enlisting the 2,000 most recently lapsed members and developing chapter-based recruiting strategies.

National Single Payer Legislation working group
Coordinating PNHP’s response to major developments, like the proposed hearing on Rep. Jayapal’s single payer bill. The committee will also develop strategies for chapters to engage with the local member of congress, whether they are pro, anti or not yet committed to supporting single payer.
