Strong families are the foundation of a better tomorrow for today’s black youth
Today’s youth are tomorrow’s young adults. The past does not have to define their destiny. A strong family forms the foundation for a productive life.
“Shall your brothers go to the war while you sit here?” (Numbers 32:6)
A silent war for the future of our children is raging. Will you get comfortable, or get involved?
Today's children deserve a future.
Through no fault of their own, our black youth in this country are more likely than others to be without the influence of good role models and loving, healthy families. They are not only losing opportunities and hope, but are losing their lives.
Stop the destructive cycle.
Loving involvement from fathers and mothers increases a child’s chances of achieving a fulfilling and productive life and decreases the likelihood they will be swallowed up by a culture of drugs, crime, violence, and despair.
Where a parent is absent, positive adult role models can make a difference and change the life of a child.
Every child is someone's son or daughter.
Every child is someone’s son or daughter. Every child has an eternal soul with an eternal destination. The price of not caring is too high. The consequences of not getting involved are too great.
It is by God’s grace and mercy that we live, breathe and have the opportunity to serve. We are students and teachers. We don’t have all the answers but have confidence in the answers provided to us by Him who created us. We do have a desire to work and a willingness to be humbled by our errors performed in the pursuit of our mission.
We are Christians; our love for you is not contingent upon your agreement with us or you having a common faith in God. Our love for you exists because of our love for God and the example of love He is for us.
