Pelosi: Female Presidential Candidates Victims of Misogyny

So I guess all these people screaming sexism and misogyny will now support Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, right?

I don’t have many trigger words, but after today, I am adding sexism and misogyny. That is why Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) had to drop out of the presidential race, right?

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi believes there is an “element of misogyny” in presidential races that keeps females from obtaining the Oval Office.

From Politico:

“Every time I get introduced as the most powerful woman, I almost cry, because I wish that were not true,” Pelosi told reporters, just hours after Warren ended her presidential run and extinguished the possibility of the first woman president being elected in 2020.

“I so wish that we had a woman president of the United States, and we came so close to doing that,” said Pelosi, the highest-ranking woman in government, at her weekly news conference. “I do think there’s a certain element of misogyny.”

The California Democrat, who became the first female speaker of the House after the 2006 elections, said some of the bias against female presidential candidates isn’t “mean spirited” and reflects more deep-seated gender divisions in society.

“Many of them will tell you, they have a strong mom, they have strong sisters,” Pelosi said in her first public remarks since the fight for the Democratic nomination was effectively winnowed down to two men.

So I guess all these people screaming sexism and misogyny will now support Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, right?

I mean, if they are all about putting a woman in the White House then they have to support Gabbard since she’s the last woman standing. I expect Pelosi and Warren to endorse Gabbard tomorrow to combat this sexism and misogyny that keeps women from holding the top office in our federal government.

Or maybe, just maybe, they can accept the fact that people flat out do not like Warren or the others and it has nothing to do with their chromosomal makeup.

Does sexism and misogyny exist? Yes. Is it why Warren failed? No.

Whether they like it or not, likability is a factor. Warren is as likable as failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. In other words she is not in the least bit.

People like President Donald Trump not just because he concentrated on issues they actually care about, but because he doesn’t act like a typical politician. He isn’t a robot. He doesn’t talk down on the American people.

Honestly, despite the obvious political beliefs, I couldn’t stand Booker, Harris, Warren, or Hillary because it felt like they were lecturing me, treating me like a minion. I cannot stand Sanders because he yells all the time.

You have to be likable. Warren is not likable. People obviously had a hard time connecting with her.

Right on cue. When something goes awry for some special “client” of the Democrats – whether black, female, queer, and so forth – it’s never the fault of that individual. The fault or blame is ALWAYS assigned to some outside force.

Try this instead. Less government and more personal responsibility, and with . . .

I’m not a misogynist. I just don’t think flighty, emotional, impulsive women should be in charge. I worked for and with too many of them. Now, if she’s like my watch supervisor when I was stationed in Puerto Rico, I’d be on her campaign committee.

As she’s talking about her fellow Democrats, she’s not wrong, but it has nothing to with Warren’s failure as a candidate.

Pelosi accuses Democrat voters of sexism and misogyny.

Wow. Who ever gave her that advice deserves a raise.

Don’t forget Perez called them racist also. He said the voters are the reason there isn’t any diversity on the debate stage.
    ——————————
“We’ve set forth a clear set of transparent, inclusive rules,” Perez said during an interview on MSNBC. “We set those rules out in advance. And it’s for the voters to decide.”

I like Tulsi. She doesn’t hate me.

Ms. Palin appreciates the support given her by Democrat women.

Jane Kirkpatrick.. should have been first female VP and then President but she despised Bush I…. and now I see why. It’s all about ideology and not sex… but the Left always redefines the issue.

Will Pence stay on or will Nikki Haley become VP candidate with Trump? In part, this is a decision based on what the Dems do. McStain missed the big picture. Trump won’t.

Haley is not a natural born US citizen. Like Obama — and Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, and Harris — she is constitutionally ineligible.

Pelosi belongs on a gallows.

Feminism is mostly the nagging instinct. Something is wrong and men have to fix it.

In marriage it’s the quest-sending instinct. The guy is sent in a quest, and usually he will screw up somehow, and then the woman shows him she’s satisfied with him anyway. This can repeat forever, she likes it and the guy likes it.

Directed at men in general, it’s feminism. The followup steps can’t happen, so the quest-sending becomes nagging. Showing satisfaction is not possible, there being no man to receeive it.

Pelosi can’t even spell “misogyny”.

By the way, the final results of the Israeli election are out, and the Likud ended up with 36 seats while its natural allies got 22, for a total of only 58. Netanyahu will not be able to form a government without attracting at least 3 defectors from the left.

Lieberman the spoiler ended up with 7 seats, and the Arabs got 15. So the deadlock is back. So long as Netanyahu leads the Likud, the Gantz-Lapid-Yaalon-Ashkenazi-Nissenkern circus won’t serve with him. Lieberman won’t serve with the religious parties, but he also won’t serve with the Arabs.

So unless Netanyahu can find those 3 defectors (which will mean making concessions that rule out the sort of bold moves he’d promised in the election), the only way to avoid a fourth election would seem to be for the Likud to pick a new leader. Then they can come in under the circus tent and form a government without Lieberman — but it will also be significantly tilted to the left, especially if Nissenkern gets his hands around the economy’s neck.

I almost am reminded by a scene in “Gandhi” where he asks, “what kind of leaders would this bring up?”

What activists whether they are Feminist or Race Hustlers don’t understand is that the “leaders” that rise within these groups in this case Feminists are unlikable outside their group.

If there was a macho group of men that advocated for just what was good for men and the “leader” of that group tried to run to be leader of everyone the people outside the macho group or men would find the person unlikeable.

The Feminist are going to consistently fail because the “leaders” that rise up like Hillary or Warren from the gender grievance industry are going to be rejected by the wider population including other women who don’t care for their gender wars.

Thank the Lord that no Republicans were involved in any of this sexism and misogyny.

Trump has already been blamed. One idiot said women were scared after the years of Trump.
Unhinged doesn’t really come close to describing the leftist lunatic fringe.

Criminally Evil Jezebels, how about that for a description?

Yeah, how does that work, exactly? Then again, logic is a patriarchal construct or some such thing, so I guess I just proved their point or something.

I will dutifully await clips from the wayback machine of Pelosi offering joyous praise of the prospects of the first female VP in Sarah Palin.

SeekingRationalThought | March 5, 2020 at 10:15 pm

Nancy, even a sex change operation can’t fix stupid, wrong and obnoxious.

Marianne Williamson could always get back into the race

George_Kaplan | March 5, 2020 at 10:38 pm

Democrats are misogynists? What a surprise. I mean they would have vote Palin otherwise! 🙂

They are victims of Democrat misogyny. republicans didn’t kick them out of the primary. Democrats did.

“element of misogyny”

Perhaps if these alleged females were competent politicians they would be still viable candidates.

How about finding that minority female who really was the first woman professor of color hired at Harvard and nominating her? Wouldn’t that be justice? What whiter-than-white Fauxcahontas did to her was even worse the “stolen valor”. It was white privilege run amok. If anyone deserves reparations it is the real first woman of color hired by Harvard.

BTW, isn’t that how the women’s rights movement usurped the civil rights movement away from blacks? It used to be about blacks being denied their basic civil rights. Now blacks are back on the plantation having to fight for the rights of women, gays, trannies…

Maybe if liberals would just focus on the real issues instead of bludgeoning everyone into having to kiss their blarney stone for access to the microphone there wouldn’t be so much anger and resentment among their own troops. It’s always hate, insults, fear-mongering and sowing division which does nothing but spread chaos and resentment. EPIC FAIL!!! TRY SOMETHING ELSE!!!

Tell that to Sara Palin.

“Many of them will tell you, they have a strong mom, they have strong sisters”

I really have no idea what this means.

“I would like a woman to be president in my lifetime!” – MeghanMcCain

“Maybe you should run!” – JoyVBehar

Meghan: “Would you vote for me, Joy?”

Joy: ..
