Funds raised by the 1st Annual Napa Valley Pickleball Classic go to the UpValley Family Centers of Napa County to further its mission of providing guidance, support and resources in the community, in the home and for the individual, so that everyone can achieve a better life. The Napa Valley Pickleball Classic is organized by a committee of local volunteers and representatives from St. Helena Parks and Recreation and UpValley Family Centers.

Tournament Participants

I signed up for the May 4 Tournament, will I still keep my spot for June 22?

Yes, if you are here to play on 6/22, you will keep your spot. A survey will be sent to all registered players to inquire about their availability. Please answer this survey by 5/24.

I signed up for the May 4 tournament and my partner is not able to play on June 22, can I pick a new partner?

Yes, if you were slated to play in the May 4 tournament and now your partner is unavailable to play in the June 22 tournament, you may pick a new partner. If you are not able to find a partner, please let us know and we can pair you with someone from the waitlist. There will be a question about this on the survey that will be sent to all registered players. Please indicate this information there.

I signed up for the May 4 Tournament and I am not able to attend on June 22, can I get a refund?

Yes, you have the option to receive a refund or convert your registration to a donation. There will be a question about this on the survey that will be sent to all registered players. Please indicate this information there.

I was signed up to play in the tournament on May 4, but had to cancel and gave up my spot. Do I have to sign up for the waitlist all over again?

No, you do not need to sign up again, we will add you to the waitlist automatically and will contact you if a spot opens up for you.

Waitlist Registrations

I was on the waitlist for May 4, do I still remain on the waitlist for June 22?

Yes, you will remain on the waitlist in the same position you were in previously. If any spots open up, we will go down the waitlist in the order registrations are timestamped. A survey will be sent to everyone on the waitlist to inquire about their availability on June 22. Please answer this survey by 5/24.

Is the waitlist going to reopen so I can add my name to it if I wasn't on the waitlist already?

Yes, the waitlist will reopen on Tuesday 5/14 at 10:00am

Are there new spots open for the tournament on June 22?

Any open spots will be filled using the waitlist in the order waitlist registrations were received. If you would like to be on the waitlist, please register. You will be notified if a spot opens up and you are next on the list.

Clinic Participants

I registered for one of the introductory clinics on May 4, are the clinics still happening on June 22?

Yes, the clinics are still happening on June 22 as they were previously scheduled. A survey will be sent to all registered clinic participants to inquire about their availability. Please answer this survey by 5/24.

Is there still space in the clinics?

Yes there is space in the 8:30-10:00 AM clinic. Registration for the remaining spaces will reopen on Tuesday, 5/14 at 10 AM.

Weather

What is going to happen if the weather is too hot to play on June 22?

In the case of extreme heat on 6/22, we will adjust the event so that all tournament play can begin in the morning.

Introductory Clinic (8:30 session): Check-in 7:45-8:15 AM

Introductory Clinic (10:30 session): Check-in 9:45-10:15 AM
