Adriana Zehbrauskas/The New York Times
A Biden event in South Phoenix last month.

On this edition of Your Call, we’re discussing the record Latino voter turnout in this election. More than 19 million eligible Latino voters voted this year, according to early estimates.

A nationwide CNN exit poll found that Joe Biden captured 66 percent of Latino voters. Donald Trump received 32 percent of the Latino vote, compared to 28 percent in 2016. Latinos were pivotal for Biden, thanks to grassroots organizing. How do these groups plan to push the incoming administration on issues like economic justice, healthcare, and immigration?

Guests:

Eduardo Sainz, Arizona state director of Mi Familia Vota, a national civic engagement organization

Tory Gavito, co-founder and president of Way to Win, a national progressive donor collaborative in Texas
