Our futures are on the line and in order to save them we must reduce our carbon footprint. Kentucky gets over 90% of its electricity from fossil fuels, while solar energy is a zero carbon alternative. Schools around the country are installing solar panels, and we are proposing that JCPS joins them on the forefront of climate action. If JCPS approves this, we are able to provide the funds, making this a NO COST project. Solar panels provide JCPS with the opportunity to pave the way towards a carbon-free future!
