Does the event have to take place in Illinois?
No. It can take place anywhere in the United States. You just need to register for the event through the event website and then setup your fundraising page with us.
Does the Lupus Society of Illinois participate in an events as a charity of choice?
Yes, we participate in two events within the Chicagoland area - the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. If you would like to join us for either please contact us at 312.542.0002 or events@lupusil.org.
Where do the funds collected go?
The funds raised by Lupus Charity Runners and Riders go towards the free programs and services provided to the lupus patients and community throughout the state of Illinois. You can see our services and programs here.
Can I participate in a triathlon or any other endurance sports on behalf of LSI?
