Since January 2009, Friends of Family Farmers has organized and hosted InFARMations, educational events that bring eaters and farmers together to talk about the most pressing issues facing Oregon’s family farms and sustainable local food systems. In the spring of 2020, we transitioned these events to an online platform and now you can join us from all corners of the state.

Through InFARMation, Friends of Family Farmers brings the issues that Oregon family farmers face onto the radar of urban consumers and the broader community. The topics always aim to inspire engagement in our food system, and to illuminate the connection between consumers and sustainable, family-scale agriculture. We firmly believe that both eaters and farmers have a stake in the food system, and when eaters connect directly with farmers, it makes our local and regional food systems stronger and makes real change possible.
