Remote Killer Drone Command Still Operating in Horsham from PA Air Guard Station. That Means U.S. Killer Drones are doing still doing what they were designed, imagined, and built to do: KILL! U.S. remote Killer drone operations, like the remote command in Horsham, PA, still does what they were established to do: Make War!

March 2013 the U.S. Air Force announced, along with local, state, and federal officials, plans to establish a drone war command center within the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, at Horsham Air National Guard Station. The Brandywine Peace Community and friends from around Pennsylvania began organizing regular protest demonstrations at the Horsham Air Guard Station to “Stop the Drone War Command Center Before It Starts”
In 2016 the Horsham site became one of the country’s 12 drone war remote command centers that dot the continental U.S., computer targeting people across the world and thousands of miles away

Nearly a decade of protests continued. Then came the Covid-19 Pandemic and the protest in Horsham took place only intermittently.

Protests at other drone war training and command sites around the country will take place between Oct. 15 – 22 in support the Shut Down Creech encampment. https://shutdowncreech.blogspot.com/

Struggle – La Lucha newspaper sponsored the trip to find out what was really going on, to counter the media lies from singular sources in Ukraine. Parker took video of the area and testimony from Lugansk residents, living in shelters near the front lines of the war. To date, the Biden administration has sent $70 billion to fund the proxy war against Russia. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear truth from the front lines of the US-funded war.
There will be an additional report from Mwezi Odom of the Uhuru Movement and African People’s Socialist Party. Mwezi Odom will describe the current campaign to demand Hands Off Uhuru in response to the FBI attack on the Uhuru and its leaders.

We will also be promoting the Black IS Back 14th Annual March on the White House on November 5th.   We need a strong showing from leftist organizations as we condemn the FBI attacks on the Uhuru Movement and the Black Liberation Struggle.   And as always, we make a strong connection to the wars abroad and the wars domestically against oppressed people in the US.

Today working people face escalating costs of food and energy, recession, growing insecurity and attacks on efforts to unionize.  The continuing wars and military provocations have brought us to the brink of nuclear war.  Yet, during this election period, imperialist foreign policy is getting little attention.  It is time for us to be back in the streets to demand an end to U.S. wars and provocations.

Put Peace on the Ballot in November
Can we stop World War III before it destroys us all?

As the world teeters on the brink of a major world war, provoked by the relentless US drive for regime change in Russia, the fate of humanity rests in the hands of a man so addled by dementia that he literally cannot make a complete sentence.

We can change that, using a very simple tool – the write-in vote.

We are preparing simple instructions on how to do a write-in vote in your area, and are calling on people across the US to write-in “No War with Russia!” on their ballots as their choice for Congress.
More information will come shortly.

WHEN YOU VOTE THIS YEAR
WRITE-IN FOR CONGRESS:
“NO WAR WITH RUSSIA”

Description:  The Stop Banking the Bomb campaign is keeping the pressure on PNC to divest from its immoral and illegal loans in weapons of mass destruction. We will continue to picket outside the PNC Tower and their branches to tell PNC, Pittsburgh is with the mass of humanity in our desire to rid the world of nuclear weapons.

PNC Bank has invested almost two billion dollars in seven notorious nuclear weapons manufacturers. We believe these continued investments are a serious threat to our planet. We demand PNC Bank sell off these loans, investments, and bond issuances to nuclear arms producers and make a binding commitment never to invest in weapons of mass destruction. Our campaign is a broad-based coalition of concerned partners, both within the Pittsburgh area and from across the nation.

RICHMOND TEACH-IN on WAR
Presentations on Ukraine – Palestine – Africa – Cuba

Saturday, Oct. 22
5 pm: Teach-In at Monroe Park
6 pm: March to Broad & Belvidere to hold signs demanding
money for jobs, peace and justice, not war!

Inflation is going through the roof. People can’t afford to pay for groceries, gas, rent or health care. But instead of helping us, the government’s “defense” budget is approaching $800 billion a year. It’s sending tens of billions to fund the war in Ukraine; $3.7 billion a year to Israel; and billions each year for its Africa Command. Meanwhile, it’s tightening its now-61-year-old blockade against Cuba, a country of 11 million people that isn’t threatening anyone.

And none of this is being talked about in the Congressional races or the build-up to the 2024 presidential election. Worse, it’s not talked about by “progressive” organizations, who leave it to the right-wing to oppose wars.

Join us at the teach-in. If you like what you hear, march with us to Broad and Belvidere.

Please join CODEPINK, for a rally and letter delivery to Congressman Salud Carbajal. The purpose is to advocate for diplomacy, not more weapons to fuel an endless war in the Ukraine. We want $$$$ for climate, jobs, healthcare and housing, not for a proxy war between the US and Russia. Ceasefire and a negotiated peace–no more weapons to fan the flames of war in Ukraine.

After our gathering in the parking lot and letter delivery, we will hold a street vigil at a busy intersection, where drivers exiting the freeway can see our anti-war and anti-nuclear weapons signs.

Here in Sonoma County a few individuals (Veterans For Peace, Greens, Quakers) have come together for a vigil on Saturday, October 15th, 11 am to 1 pm in Old Courthouse Square. This is a preliminary gathering – no sound system – no program – but there will be a table with information and sign-up sheets for those who would like to get involved in very necessary anti-nuke work.

This weekend marks the 60th anniversary of the start of the Cuban Missle Crisis. Humanity is closer to nuclear war than we have been since then.

Many activist groups around the country have come together, under the umbrella of Defuse Nuclear War, to call attention to the increasing and highly volatile threat of nuclear war. Defuse Nuclear War has called for a week of action – see their website at defusenuclearwar.org for details.

It is time to demand that our elected representatives work to de-escalate tensions between nuclear nations. It is time to negotiate. It is time to demand:

End the policy of “First Use”
Rejoin Nuclear Weapons Treaties
Take U.S. Nuclear Weapons Off Hair-Trigger Alert
Get Rid of ICBMs (land-based nuclear missiles)
Support Congressional Action to Avert Nuclear War ((H.R. 1185)
Move the Money to Human Needs, Not War

Vancouver area network groups and their friends will again demonstrate for just peace: Mobilization against Wars and Occupation, Fire this Time Social Justice Movement, Just Peace Committee and other affiliates of the International League of Peoples’ Struggles, World Beyond War, Global Peace Alliance-BC Society.

While the U.S. pours more weapons into the proxy war in Ukraine–holding open the possibility of direct confrontation with nuclear-armed Russia, the war fanatics in Washington seem determined to start even more fires around the world. Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan; hints that the U.S. may be moving towards confrontation with China as well as strikes against Iran; and reports that new U.S./south Korea war games will practice a “decapitation” strike against the north (DPRK): all show the urgent need to speak out.
