Gifts in Memorial

Volunteer Recognition

FamilyMeans is grateful that many donors, volunteers, former staff, clients, and community members designate the agency as a recipient of gifts in memory (or in honor) of a loved one.

Unless otherwise instructed, all memorial gifts are earmarked for FamilyMeans program endowment fund. This provides longevity for gifts in memorium. Interest from this fund goes back into the annual budget and helps to strengthen FamilyMeans.

To make a gift in memory of a loved one, you can do so by:

  • Writing "In Memory of _______" on the memo line of your check
  • Indicating that a gift is a memorial on our secure donation page
  • Include a note with any other donation types
