The fracked gas industry targeted Kalama to build the world’s largest fracked gas-to-methanol refinery. The project would drive a huge increase in Washington’s greenhouse gas pollution emissions while harming the health and safety of people in Kalama and Cowlitz County. Now is the time to make your voice heard and to call on state leaders to reject this dangerous proposal in our backyard.

The Department of Ecology is holding a series of virtual public hearings in September. In advance of the hearings, join us to hear inspirational stories from those most affected by this project, and learn how to make the most of the virtual public hearing. Together, we can stop this project once and for all.
