The child tax credit is available to households with kids under 17, that make less than $150,000 per year. Monthly installments will be paid out through the end of the year - up to $250 per child and as much as $300 for children under six.

The agency also working with families that did not pay taxes for 2021 or 2020. If they are eligible for the credit, unpaid taxes will keep them from being able to receive the funds. In all, 4,000 local families may be impacted by this.
