The National Coalition for LGBT Health will conduct the 17th annual National LGBT Health Awareness Week from March 25-29, 2019. Created by the Coalition in 2003, National LGBT Health Awareness Week features partner organizations from around the country who conduct activities during the Week to raise awareness of timely LGBT health issues. The Coalition invites you to join as a partner organization for the upcoming Week.
Last year, 170 organizations across the nation joined the National Coalition for LGBT Health. Together we reached over 3 million individuals on Twitter and Facebook, educated individuals from 300 organizations with a webinar on topics in LGBT health, and engaged 80 Congressional Offices with information impacting LGBT health including public accommodation, discrimination in healthcare, and behavioral health outcomes.
Partners for National LGBT Health Awareness Week participate in educational and advocacy activities throughout the Week, while conducting their own activities to raise awareness of LGBT health issues, including those related to their organization's interests.
