Canoe/Kayak the Shell Rock River

We will be hosting a canoe/kayak float on the Shell Rock River on Saturday, July 30.
We will have a limited number of canoes, single kayaks and tandem kayaks for use that day, or you can bring your own. Either way, we are requiring reservations so we can plan our staffing accordingly.
You can register by calling 319-278-4237. Let us know if you need one of our boats or will bring your own, how many people will be attending, and your contact information in case weather or river cause us to cancel, postpone or change location.
We hope to float from Wunsch Memorial Park in Greene to Camp Comfort. We will begin the float at 9:00 AM with instruction and safety information before getting everyone out on the river.
Participants will need to carpool/shuttle on their own. This event is free to everyone and is family friendly. We recommend bringing plenty of snacks, water and sunscreen and wearing shoes that are secure on your feet.
**Wearing a life vest at all times during this event is required whether you are borrowing our equipment or bringing your own.
