D.C. Hunger Solutions works to end hunger in the nation’s capital by maximizing participation in federal nutrition programs, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). From February to April, we partner with D.C. Community Tax Aid to help income-eligible residents file their taxes and enroll in SNAP. We are seeking 40-50 enthusiastic volunteers to work as SNAP Outreach Specialists, who provide SNAP application assistance at tax sites. A training will be required for all volunteers.
