Join us for a wildcrafted harvest dinner with the incredible and knowledgeable Iowa DNR naturalist, Ann Riordan! To start the evening, we will embark on a foraging hike through Springbrook State Park, foraging for some of the ingredients for our meal as a group. Then we’ll make a delicious wildcrafted meal with our found goodies. We’ll share tips and tricks about cooking with forageables, like garlic mustard, nettles, lambs quarter, chickweed, mushrooms, edible flowers, and so much more.

Join us for a casual hike around the flower farm, where Harvest Home will show all the beautiful spring blooms, their production methods, and share gardening tips and tricks from their owner, Jamie.
Do you know about urban wetland tucked behind 120th and Maple in the heart of Omaha? With dozens of species of birds, mammals, and plants, Heron Haven features one of the last oxbow wetlands of Big Papio Creek. We’ll take a guided tour through the sanctuary, about a 1-mile, mostly flat route on boardwalk and dirt trail.
