Litter Bugs Me recruits volunteers to clean up our West Marin roadsides ahead of the rainy season. Trash accumulates on our roadsides throughout the year, moves through the watershed by wind and runoff, and causes harm to wildlife, especially as it degrades into small pieces. Much of it gets washed into our waterways when the rain starts in the fall. Litter Bugs Me helps to protect our watershed, wildlife, aquatic and marine life by preventing trash from finding its way into our creeks and eventually into the ocean.

We really appreciate working with many of you in the past on this program! And we hope your community group will participate in this effort by recruiting volunteers from your village group, and coordinating information with us to make this a community-wide, group effort.

Please discuss the coming event with the members of your group, and then fill out the form below to confirm or choose your route and date(s) that you plan to participate. The routes are listed below (but does not include EAC's routes for which we will be recruiting volunteers on Platform Bridge Road, Nicasio Reservoir, Giacomini Wetland trails, streets in Point Reyes Station, White House Pool, and Levee Road).

• The roadside cleanup days include Monday, September 12 through Saturday, September 17th (which is also Coastal Cleanup Day). 
• Trash from Litter Bugs Me can be deposited in Recology's trash and recycling bins (donated for this purpose), which will be located at Whitehouse Pool from September 12th to Saturday, September 17th. 
• Unless you'll be depositing trash elsewhere, please deposit trash at Whitehouse Pool by 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 17th.
• If you deposit trash elsewhere, please estimate weight and volume and report it to leslie@eacmarin.org.
