“ECDL is always an incredible opportunity for students but I think this year was particularly meaningful because these students are seniors, whose learning experiences have been significantly shaped by the pandemic. Having this opportunity to learn and volunteer at ECDL in person was great for them on a personal and professional level. The students who volunteered reported experiencing epiphany-level realizations about the value of their experiences, knowledge, skills, and perspectives and the responsibility they have to be more involved in advocacy within the state. ECDL boosted their confidence and they were star struck by many of the individuals they were able to meet.”
