Lake Forest and Lake Bluff are famous for their amazing residential architecture, but it’s the stories from within the walls that makes these houses, homes. Join us as we kick off an exciting new series: “If These Walls Could Talk”, which celebrates the people and historical happenings that brought local houses to life. For our inaugural program, centennial family member Katherine Saville shares her meticulous research into her great-grandfather’s home at 999 North Lake Road, also known as the Clayton Mark House. Join Katherine and her family as they explore photographs and documents from their Mark family predecessors, as well as the ways in which the house has changed as new families have called it home.
