The purpose of this study is to examine the views of people living with HIV about criminal laws in a situation where a person living with HIV is accused of not disclosing their HIV status or of perceived, potential or actual HIV exposure or transmission.
The project seeks to understand the awareness and understanding of laws impacting people living with HIV.
The study is being conducted by The Henne Group in conjunction with the Sero Project along with a broad range of partners. Funding is provided by Gilead through the Health Not Prison Collective.
