Previews of Upcoming Webinars Fall 2022

By Cheryl Hart, Coalition of Refuge Friends and Advocates

Is your Refuge Friends group looking for some great ways to fundraise? End-of-year giving is often a source of donations to nonprofit organizations but how can you attract some of that philanthropy? Join us for our October webinar when Courtney Phelan, Director of Development, National Wildlife Refuge Association, will present some ways to approach end-of-year giving.

In November, Eric Alvarez, Chief, Division of Realty, Budget, Performance, and Workforce, will explain the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Federal budget process.

December will be another legislative update with Libby Marking and Caroline Brouwer and the kickoff for our Refuge Friends campaign to improve National Wildlife Refuge System funding and staffing.

Also, in December we will host a discussion with USFWS about the reports and reviews described in the Friends Partnership Agreement.

January will focus on attracting a diverse and inclusive community to our Refuge Friends groups.

As always, topics for our webinars are subject to change so be sure you have registered with the National Wildlife Refuge Association to receive the latest information and invitations to webinars, the quarterly newsletter, The Link, and other information pertinent to Refuge Friends.
