The Iowa Environmental Council hosts several events throughout the year, including our Environmental Lobby Day during legislative session and Pro H2O in the spring.

Lakeside Labs - Cooperative Lakes Area Monitoring Project Volunteer Training

We wanted to pass along an opportunity from our friends at Lakeside Lab. If you are interested in being a CLAMP (Cooperative Lakes Area Monitoring Project) volunteer, they are offering trainings. The goal of CLAMP is to provide long-term monitoring data on regional lake conditions and educate local citizens about lake ecology. Here are the upcoming training dates:

-Saturday, May 21st at 10:00am

-Saturday, May 21st at 1:00pm

-Tuesday, May 31st at 10:00am
