Say NO to Predatory Lending
All families deserve fair access to credit, but payday loans make a bad situation worse by trapping borrowers in a cycle of debt. A new federal rule developed under the Obama administration was on track to go into effect later this year. This rule would have protected borrowers by ensuring that payday lenders must consider their ability to repay the loan. Payday lenders have lobbied the Trump administration to roll back these new protections.

Join us to learn more about the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) proposal to repeal this rule and TAKE ACTION by submitting a public comment and sharing why you believe that predatory lending is a step in the wrong direction for Nebraskan children and families.
