Main Street Alliance - Vermont Small Business Reopening Survey

Main Street Alliance-Vermont has launched a new “Small Business Road to Recovery Survey.” As vaccination rates go up and businesses from child care providers to restaurants are beginning to open their doors,  MSA-VT wants to get a sense of how this reopening is affecting businesses.  Questions focus on comfort levels for reopening, support for mask mandates, and other needs. The survey will help provide insight and feedback to the legislature as they finalize criteria and funding for the next round of economic recovery grants.

Alliance Equity Discussion - 5/21, 1:00 pm

Join a group of peers from the early childhood community to engage in sustained learning about antiracism and diversity, equity, and inclusion! The Alliance has established a monthly, salon-style Equity Discussion Group via Zoom, and the next session is coming up on Friday, May 21, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

This session will be facilitated by Matt Levin, Alliance Executive Director.  The theme of this session will be “Reflecting on Our Own DEI Efforts.” Two short readings will be shared with the session. One is a reflection on efforts to bring Black History Month into a Vermont classroom, and another is on the validity and meaning of verbal land acknowledgements.
