Over the last 41 years, Ballet Arkansas has positively impacted the lives of more than 150,000 Arkansans. Reaching over 13,000 individuals annually, Ballet Arkansas' education programs and performances touch the lives of residents across the state and throughout the region. On behalf of The Ballet Arkansas Board of Directors, we are proud to welcome you to this year's 9th Annual Turning Pointe Gala. The Gala is Ballet Arkansas' premier fundraising event, and your attendance/sponsorship will ensure its success. Attendees will enjoy signature performances by the professional dancers of Ballet Arkansas, a cocktail reception and silent auction, dinner and dancing with live music by the Dizzy 7 Band at Chenal Country Club. Ballet Arkansas turns 41 years old! Founded in 1978 as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, Ballet Arkansas is proud to be the foremost professional ballet company of the State of Arkansas. Our organization has touched the lives of nearly one hundred twenty-five thousand residents by providing access to world class dance performances. Each year, the company has expanded it's reach in the community and throughout the state, remaining committed to providing excellent educational and performance experiences in a variety of settings. In July of 2017, the company embraced new artistic leadership with the welcome of Michael Fothergill and Catherine Garratt Fothergill to the organization. Since their arrival, Ballet Arkansas has taken bold new steps to enhance its programming, modernize its image, strengthen community partnerships, and revitalize the community of Little Rock and the state of Arkansas. Whether you prefer classical, contemporary, or everything in between, Season 41 will leave you breathless. Come experience what everyone has been talking about!
