Advocacy Day for Access & Independence is a big day for the disability community. Help make it bigger by contacting your lawmaker and inviting them to join you at the State House. We can make South Carolina a stronger and more inclusive state, but we can only do it when we work with leaders inside and outside the disability community.
Your mission is simple:
Introduce yourself and invite your lawmakers to Advocacy Day for Access & Independence.
Every day, decisions are made that impact the lives of all South Carolinians. When the disability community does not speak up, it is worse than silence. People with no understanding or personal experience with disability are happy to speak up for us.
It's time for every one of us to do our part and connect with the leaders who make these decisions every day. It does not have to be a big ask, so we're starting small to help you build a relationship with your SC Senator and SC House Member.
All we ask is that you help introduce yourself as their constituent and that you invite them to join us at Advocacy Day for Access & Independence on April 4.
You got this!
