Watermelon Butterfly

Do you love butterflies? Then you’ll have lots of fun making—and eating—this tasty, sweet treat. Bug appetit!

What You Need

  • cherry
  • grapes
  • watermelon
  • blueberries
  • cherry stem
  • toothpick

 

What You Do

  1. For the head and body, place one cherry and three grapes on a plate, as shown.
  2. Add four triangle-shaped slices of watermelon to create wings.
  3. Cut two grapes and three blueberries in half. Arrange them on the watermelon wings.
  4. For antennae, use a toothpick to push an extra cherry stem into the top of the head.
