2020 Virtual Manzanar Pilgrimage – WATCH HERE

For 2020, given the stay-at-home and social/physical distancing requirements throughout the country due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the traditional 51st Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage, where thousands of people gather at the Manzanar National Historic Site on the last Saturday in April, was cancelled.

That is, the traditional Manzanar Pilgrimage has been cancelled. As such, the time has come to move to something non-traditional to keep the Manzanar Pilgrimage alive for this year, so here is a Virtual Manzanar Pilgrimage instead

  1. I am not finding an entrance to a video that several stories mention. Many bring me back too “Virtual experience here.” Which not seem to have an active link to anywhere, except ultimately back to itself. Very disappoint so far.

    1. If you’re using Apple’s Safari browser, there is a bug that may be preventing you from viewing the embedded video. There is a note in the post with a link to the video. Also, you may need to empty your web browser’s cache.

  2. It is 1:21 p.m. on April 25. I have been trhing for an hour and a half to find the Manzanr Pilgrimage video noted in half a dozen different locations on the Manzanar Committee website.

Finally, at the very bottom. an article, l saw the notice that MacBook users wouldn’t be able to join in if they are using Safari. If this is the case, take THIS link to a YouTube version. That link did not lift my spirits.

I’m still unable access anything but articles — groovy though that is, it’s not the whole package.
