Adam Manning

Thank you for looking at my page. I'm a Borough Councillor for the Hamble and Netley Ward of Eastleigh Borough and a member of the Liberal Democrats party. I'm also a Parish Councillor for Hound Parish Council. By profession, I'm a Civil Litigation Solicitor working for Biscoes Solicitors in Portsmouth.

I'm part of a project called Green Hampshire which is aimed at promoting environmental and conservation events in Hampshire, England to help people get involved. I'm also a member of the Friends of Weston Shore and we're working to promote and protect beautiful Weston Shore in Southampton, England.

Another area of activity is being a member of the British Interplanetary Society, the world's oldest space advocacy group. I'm particularly interested in space based solar energy for use on Earth to reduce reliance on fossil and nuclear fuels. I have given a number of talks on aspects of Space Law.

I'm also a supporter of Ronald McDonald House Southampton, a charity that provides accommodation for families when their children are undergoing medical treatment at hospital, a cause very close to my heart.

Interests include nature, natural beauty, environmental issues, space, space exploration, film making, acting, computer graphics, calligraphy and origami. Thanks for taking an interest!
