eBulletin #10 – Westchester County 2021 Budget Thank you

Thank you!

Another Budget season has passed during an unusually challenging time. We are very thankful to the County Executive, Board of Legislators, and leaders of Westchester County for listening intently to testimony from Westchester Children’s Association and reviewing the written submissions from over a hundred members of the Campaign for Kids Coalition.  As of this writing, based on preliminary analysis of the results of deliberations for the 2021 Westchester County Budget members of the Board of Legislation have approved the budget demonstrating their commitment to the needs and programs that support over 300,000 children and youth in our county.

We would also like to give hearty thanks to our supporters who responded quickly to our Advocacy Alert and sent direct messages and posts to your local officials to keep Westchester’s kids at the top of the agenda.  There is a light ahead for 2021 as we turn the page on a difficult time in 2020.

Children are counting on us to maintain our support and help them thrive in the year ahead.
