BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy is looking into the Department of Health and Human Services over a website called abortionfinder.org.
HHS provides a link to that page on its website. It gives abortion advice and resources along with research on each state’s abortion laws.
Cassidy sent a letter criticizing the use of taxpayer dollars to promote abortion.
“This website, Abortion Finder, provides minors as young as 15 years of age and younger about how to obtain an abortion without parental knowledge,” said Cassidy.
On the HHS website, a statement said that they are working to protect women’s access to reproductive health.
