Frequently asked questions (Faq) about applying to confluence

Can I apply to more than one position?

Sure! In fact, we encourage it! We are so lucky to partner with such great organizations doing incredible work, it’s easy to see how more than one position would appeal to you. If you are selected for an interview at more than one organization we’ll help you narrow down your options during the selection process.

I’m having trouble finding Confluence on the americorps.gov website, what should I do?

Just search “Confluence” - nothing more - nothing less. There are so many excellent programs all across the US that it can be challenging for the algorithms to find us if you try to narrow it down too specifically. We’ve heard from other applicants that the easiest thing to do is to simply search “Confluence” rather than attempting to narrow it down by any other category. We’ve also heard from applicants that americorps.gov works well on Microsoft Edge (used to be called Internet Explorer) so you might try that as well. Contact us for additional support.

How long will these positions be open?

Each position has their own application instructions and timelines and Confluence will continue to keep the website up-to-date as the available positions are filled. Project Supervisors will conduct all initial interviews and recommend top candidates to Confluence. Confluence will conduct final interviews and offer positions. It can take up to 2 months for the full application process to be completed.
