Description: Prior records of evictions can negatively impact renters by appearing on tenant screenings or credit reports. Historically, sealing past records so that they no longer appear has been difficult to achieve. However, the standard for sealing past eviction records has been temporarily lowered through August 2022. LCBH’s free chatbot at rentervention.com makes the process of preparing a motion to seal past eviction records quick and easy. Join us for a training on how to use the rentervention.com tool to assist clients with sealing past eviction records.
