POSITION TITLE/STATUS:
Dependency & Neglect (D&N) Case Supervisor
Full-time, 40 hrs./wk., Non-Exempt

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to D&N Program Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides professional staff support to D&N volunteers, ensuring that the child’s best
interests are addressed, specifically regarding advocacy and permanency planning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assisting with volunteer recruitment to include screening and interviewing prospective volunteers.
  • Co-facilitating volunteer training sessions.
  • Providing continuous support and coaching of volunteers as they fulfill their duties as Court Appointed Special Advocates, to include editing all court reports prior to submission.
  • Prioritizing volunteer recognition and retention efforts.
  • Completing administrative tasks such as file management and data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate required
  • College graduate preferred
  • Volunteer management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of court system operations helpful
  • Knowledge of public relations and customer service helpful
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and database entry
  • Reliable transportation required

STARTING ENTRY LEVEL SALARY RANGE:
$40,000 – $44,720 Annual
