Join climate artist Nicole Kelner to learn how to use art as a tool for climate communication.
The theme of this workshop is about the benefits of public transportation. We'll learn the essential tools to make a simple and playful infographic.
Agenda:
- Introduction
- Warm up art activity
- Break out rooms for brainstorming + intention setting
- 20 minutes for making art
- Group reflection
Materials: bring a pencil, eraser, and any paints/colored pencils/crayons if you have them. No prior art experience required.

Nicole Kelner creates educational art to inspire climate action. She uses watercolors to communicate complex ideas in climate in a beautiful, accessible way.
She just published a coloring book about clean energy called Electrify Everything and is launching a Climate Art 101 course.
She has worked with clients such as the Department of Energy, Sunrun, Climate Tech VC, My Climate Journey, Harvard, and The Climate Museum to help create custom watercolors.
